FORTUNA FOUND - YOUR KITE COMMUNITY
Ground Display

Challenge:
Accessory Crafsmanship
These photo cut-out displays are designed to draw spectators into the festival. Traditional displays (banners, spinners, windsocks, etc) are meant only to be looked at by spectators. The photo cut-outs allow spectators to become part of the event. There is also space on them to post an advertisement or hashtag unique to different events (velcro dots allow ad panels to be removed and changed). The cut-outs are made at different heights to accommodate small children and adults. On the surfer cut-outs, the skin color is intentionally different to encourage racial diversity and inclusion. Each cut-out is made of appliqued ripstop nylon, with dacron sleeves that slide over PVC pipe supports.
