May 24th, 2021 Kite Newsletter - New and Improved

It was time for a facelift to the weekly email newsletter. We may still mess around with it in the coming week till we get the one that looks just right, so if you like what you see, let us know!

This weekly snippet of sharing things in the kite world has been one of the things that has kept the Fortuna Found HQ humming along and feeling motivated to keep flying kites. Hopefully it has kept you informed, and perhaps inspired you to go out and do a little bit more with your kites. As always, we are open to suggestions on how to make this a better resource for you. Let us know at .

Heather Morrow died last week after suffering a brain injury in 2019 when she fell out of a moving vehicle while flying a stunt kite, her family confirmed Tuesday.

Morrow, a Colorado native, was in Orlando and testing the kites in July 2019 when the accident happened at Kiteman Productions, an Orlando-based business that has performed shows in the theme parks.

Our goal at Canvas Kite Designs is to create sport kites that generate excitement and the will to learn. All Canvas Kite Designs utilize the highest quality materials on the market today. We encourage you to explore each personality, from the intricacies of their design to the fine details of their construction. We’re LIVE. Over the next two weeks we’ll be adding more content, videos, and even media of our first batch of kites surfacing at the Lyon Township Kite Festival June 5-6!
